is it too laye to ask?

I got the same problem, and I got to the same answer; however this "niceimage" doesn't fit my total picture width, instead it gets covered by my right column, depending on the screen resolution.
any ideas???

The code snippet after <em>"To prevent some unneeded effects, we put also a no-repeat in the style definition. After all, we got this:"</em> still doesn't contain the 'no-repeat' you mentioned...

Hi,
Nice trick, but there are two tiny errors in your example scripts. The first: You mention the 'no-repeat' property, but you don't show it in the example below that mentioning.
The second: You mention to use 'margin-top: 100px', but in your example you use 'padding-top: 100px'.????
